Anita Horry Academy is the brainchild of 2nd Generation Pilates Teacher and Lolita San Miguel Pilates Master, Anita Horry who certified with Lolita San Miguel, Pilates Elder and a direct protégé of Joseph H. Pilates himself. It initially started as a Pilates Teacher training program but due to increased customer demand grew to a Pilates and wellness business consultancy and coaching engine where business owners from all over the world seek advise on how to monetise on streamlining processes and strategies. Anita's
experience gained in living and working internationally creates a robust and fool proof system to increase business organisation and profitability.

I have been inspiring others in their movement practices for nearly twenty years and have had the pleasure to teach both nationally and internationally. I am a compassionate, creative teacher and mentor. My dedication to knowledge and intuition informs a teaching style that emphasizes the use of breath, ease of movement, functional anatomy, and science and incorporates research and integration into traditional movement protocols. I love figuring out a student’s postural patterns ad compensation strategies and guiding them to more awareness and control. It continues to amaze me how quicky they feel better, how deep the work can go and how feeling better impacts everything about their lives. I am also a specialist in bone health and age-related issues, including osteoporosis, spinal changes, back pain, postural changes, and balance concerns. I see transformations daily!

I am a problem-solver who is completely client-centered in my teaching. I love working with and inspiring creativity in clients during private sessions and group classes. Because of my rich functional movement background, my ability to combine traditional and contemporary philosophies and lineages creates the perfect combination of movement strategies. I am an expert in putting complex concepts into meaningful contexts and delivering them with insight and compassion. Through superb cuing, metaphors, and imagery, I inspire students to break things down and apply them in intelligent, comprehensive ways.
In my movement practices, I remain a forever student committed to learning from some of the industry’s most notable teachers. I have completed certifications and graduate-level study in a multitude of programs, including the following:

⭐️ Myoskeletal and fascia therapy (Erik Dalton)
⭐️ A member of the Pilates Method Alliance (USA) and the European Register of Exercise Professionals

I am also a Teacher trainer, founder of Anita Horry Academy as well as a Pilates and Wellness business coach and mentor to many clients around the world. I aim to continue sharing my experiences and knowledge with these beautiful people and I look forward to teaching you all very soon!

Graduated with Universal Pilates in Spain and continued with Pilates Elder, Lolita San Miguel, USA where I completed a two year Master Mentor Program. I successfully completed a further year long LEAP Programme with the late Master Teacher Bob Liekens who introduced me to essential and functional advancements to the movement. This knowledge has signified the importance of the Classical Pilates method, combined with functional advancements to the movement in order to maximize your experience.
